Croucher Endorses John Crawford for Insurance Commissioner

Tells Tea Party Activists Crawford Will Fight Obama Mandates 

Tulsa, OK. August 10, 2010 – The conservative economic activist and business man who made a strong showing in the July 27th Republican Primary for Insurance Commissioner has thrown his support to John P. Crawford in the upcoming Runoff for Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner.

Mark Croucher, president and owner of the W.H.Y. Insurance Agency, is encouraging his supporters to vote for Crawford. Croucher gained 19.2% of the vote from the July 27 primary. Many political observers attribute Croucher’s strong performance to the support given to him by the organized economic conservative movement, also known as the ‘tea party’ in Oklahoma. Croucher says Crawford offers those Republicans who strongly identify with the economic conservatives of tea party movement the best combination of skills and dedication to the cause.

“Before long, government mandates that are tied to the Obama health reforms will be headed to Oklahoma. John Crawford has the experience and intellect to fight vigorously against the extremist and ill-advised Obama plan,” Croucher states.

Before finalizing his decision, Croucher met with both candidates separately to discuss the issues relevant to the Insurance Commissioner. “Crawford is a very honorable man, a veteran and a patriot. He also has real plans for how to solve some of the problems we are in, and he isn’t afraid to address the tough issues,” Croucher says.
